about
“Run”, the debut single from eur(elle)’s forthcoming debut album addresses the issue of mental health, so prevalent in today's society.
……Sometimes it just takes a crack in the curtains, an inkling of hope or that sudden glimpse of beauty to propel you from darkness into the light. When you emerge, run as fast as you can.
With influences ranging from Francis and the Lights, Sigur Rós & Bon Iver to Jarryd James, Tom Walker & Villagers, eur(elle) creates what he describes as “honest, cinematic soundscapes, tinted with a touch of melancholy”.
This is a mix of Indie Rock & Singer Songwriter Folk, fused with slight hints of Electronica throughout the sound.
“Run” is out now.
“Dark Chromatic” the album, will be released July 1st 2019.
lyrics
Beyond the wall, over the mountain
If you find a valley then you'll be there
That's where the light is
Open your arms, feel the rain from the forest
You will be reborn when you breathe it
The darkness defeated
Just run as fast as you can
Just run as fast as you can
Do whatever it takes for your mind and your soul
To find it's right place
And just run as fast as you can
Don't you leave yourself in a rut
'Cause nothing is worth it
Gather what you can and embrace it
'Cause we've run out of time
Everything you see it matters
Just breathe and behold
Leave what you know what was wrong for your heart
And start over again
Come on and just run as fast as you can
Just run as fast as you can
Do whatever it takes for your mind and your soul
To find it's right place
And just run as fast as you can
Ohh, just run as fast as you can
Just run as fast as you can
Do whatever it takes for your mind and your soul
To find it's right place
And just run as fast as you can ohhh
